math 6/7: had a quiz today. no homework
math 6: We had a test today. homework is to practice multiplication facts - if needed. (at this point, your child is aware of how he/she is doing on timed tests. They should practice at home if needed. There is an ample supply of practice test to take home).
math 6/7: there is a quiz tomorrow on box and whisker plots and stem and leaf plots. I will hold a help session at 8:25am tomorrow morning exclusively for 6/7. homework: study/prepare for the quiz; finish the 2 worksheets in your packet, and complete the 9-6 Practice ws
math 6: You have a TEST tomorrow on graphing and statistics. There is a help session at 8:25 am. Use the on-line resources to review for the test, and look over old worksheets and homework papers. Complete workbook pages 47 and 50. Remember: we had a timed facts test today....practice at home if you need to....extra practice sheets are available.
math 6/7: You will have a quiz Friday on stem and leaf plots and box and whisker plots. There will be a help session on Friday morning for 6/7 only. Do not come tomorrow morning. Complete three worksheets: the 10-2 Study Guide, the 3-6 box and whisker plots and the lesson 7-5 practice B (which were all stapled together in a packet).

math 6/7: There will be a quiz Monday on the following topics: * numerical and categorical data *scale and interval *frequency tables, line plots, histograms * interpreting single, double, and stacked bar graphs *line graphs Also do pg. 328, #1-9 in your textbook.
Get your textbooks covered, your syllabus signed (blue paper or math 6/ pink for math 6/7); make sure you've turned in a textbook contract.

math 6 homework: workbook page 48, problem #3 (complete this, giving thought to what INTERVAL is needed ); lesson 6-5 handout, FRONT ONLY (give thought to the "reading in the content" type questions); histogram handout BOTH sides (carefully draw the histogram in the space provided. Don't forget title and labels. You need to come up with the most appropriate frequency interval for the graph. For the Mark McGuire histogram....complete the tally first, then create the histogram in the space provided. Come up with the appropriate frequency interval.)
