Carlton: (3rd period) Today we started our unit which will lead up to our reading and analysis of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. We viewed a video on the American Dream and read "Out of Many, One" by Barack Obama.

Attard/Carlton (1st period) - We continued our discussion of the American Dream, students shared the symbols that they created, and we placed the symbols on our map of America.

Johnson/Carlton (6th/7th period) - We are continuing our in-class reading of To Kill a Mockingbird. The first TKAM project was assigned. It will be due on February 8. Students were given a copy of the directions today.
