Vickery/Carlton: The class watched an interview with Miep Gies, who helped Anne Frank's family while they were in hiding. We also reviewed the WWII vocabulary for the final exam.

Carlton: Today the class reviewed the final exam study guide and assembled all the notes necessary to prepare the study guide. Please check this over with your student and sign the study guide. Parent signature is due tomorrow, and the study guide is due Monday, 5/19.

Teacher Fear Factor benefiting Relay for Life will take place this Friday, April 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Dunk your teachers in the dunk tank, and watch them participate in such thrilling events as the Egg Drop, Tricycle Relay, Baby Pool Relay, and In Yo Face. There will be music, food and lots of fun while we raise money for cancer research. Join us! Everyone is welcome!

ALL LA CLASSES: Finish taking the online CRCT tests; one point will be added to the final exam grade for each test taken and passed with 80% or better. All tests must be completed by tomorrow, 4/24.
Carlton: We reviewed for CRCT and began reading chapter 10 of SGS. Our class will not meet tomorrow due to CRCT schedule

CRCT TESTING: APRIL 23 - 25 AND APRIL 28 - 29
Please sign the CRCT letter your student is bringing home today. This letter contains information and instructions for accessing the CRCT practice tests online. Students who complete the online LA/reading tests with a score of 80% or better will receive 1 bonus point per test. The bonus points will be added to the final exam grade. The maximum number of points a student may earn is 7. All tests must be completed by Wednesday, 4/23 in order to receive bonus points.
