Welcome to middle school!

I have only just met my 6th grade class and I can tell already that they will be a creative bunch!  We are working on the School Bus Safety Poster for 2011.  This year the theme is "I See The Driver - The Driver Sees Me!"  The students are currently brainstorming ideas for this years theme.  The posters have to be finished by September 12th.

I hope everyone enjoyed summer vacation.  Seventh grade is starting the year in art with a drawing assignment.  We will also begin an assignment that will be worked on as you finish other assignments.  The optical illusion assignment will be due at the end of the quarter. Please go to this assignment when you complete other assignments in class.

I hope everyone enjoyed summer vacation.  We have started the new school year in 8th grade art class with a drawing project.  The project is complete and is on display in the media center.  We are currently working on a project that should be worked on as other assignments are finished.  On Monday, we will begin a self portrait using torn paper.  Be prepared to have a picture taken of you next week.
