Welcome back from Winter Holiday Break! We begin the third quarter with an assignment in shading. As you choose a theme for the project, think about something that you could get excited about drawing several times or several ways. In some of the boxes zoom in so that we might see a very close-up view of the object. Decide what you will choose to have break out of the confines of the box and find it's way around the paper. When you are finished with the drawing, shade using 4-5 graphite tints and shades.
Dear Dickerson Parents,
Inclement weather is expected for early next week. Here are a few helpful facts for you and your student(s).
1. The Cobb County School District website, www.cobbk12.org will have information as early as Sunday afternoon regarding school delays or closings
2. You may also gain information regarding closings or delays by tunning into
local news or radio.
3. If school is delayed by two hours, Dickerson Middle School will cancel ALL before school clubs, study sessions, practices, study halls, detentions, etc. The school will operate on a two hour delay and the building will open to students @ 10:45 A. M.
4. Bus riders a 2 hour delay means that the buses will run 2 hours later than they normally do. So if your student's is picked up at 8:39, a two hour delay would mean the bus will pick up your student at 10:39.
