Mon. Absolute Value equations-did in class HW: have word problem packet complete up to the very last page

Tues. Absolute value word problems HW: finish absolute value word problems

Wed. Did radical equations in class and discussed word problems HW: finish last page of word problem packet

Thurs.: Did quiz review and started "Bloom Ball" graded assignment HW: review for quiz tomorrow

Fri. Take quiz and work on graded assignment HW: The Bloom Ball assignment must be completed by Thursday at the beginning of class so plan accordingly.

Next Friday Nov. 11th is the Test for Unit 3 Part 1

Mon. Translating and changing repeating decimals to fractions HW: finish the 11 repeating decimals to fractions.

Tues. Worked on more translating and did a couple of proofs. HW: green workbook pg.17 show work

Wed. Zap-the-Frac. Worked on removing the denominators in equations and simplifying HW: worksheet everything but 1 to 6.

Thurs. Solving equations and proofs. Algebra book page 97 problems 50 to 52 (finished in class) and page 98 (74 to 80) most finished in class HW: finish

Fri. Solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign. Practice some problems from the Algebra book. Tues. Take test Unit 2 part 2:radicals and pythagorean theorem HW: start exam review finish at least half.

Wed. Go over exam review HW: review for the exam tomorrow. Answers to last page of review is attached.

Thurs. 8:15 help session for any last minute questions.

Thurs. Quiz on Pythagorean Theorem and do rational exponents from the Algebra book. Page 832 to 834 Problems: 1 to 21, 26 to 50, 52 71 and 74 to 76

Fri. Reviewed radicals HW: Review problems for the test on Tues. Can practice problems 46 to 66 evens and 67 to 78 on pages 838 and 839 also 46 to 52 and 58 on page 64 all in the Algebra book. This is not required but it is available. The answers can be found on page s105 in the back of the book.

Next week is the end of 1st quarter. Test on Tuesday and Exam on Thursday.
