Week of December 17th to 21st

Mon. Math8 Review for test on Wed HW worktext pages 80, 82 and 83 Enriched - Review for test HW: workbook pages 20 and 21 and a worksheet.

Tues Everyone was given a review sheet for the exam on Friday. In class we continued to review for the test tomorrow. Math8 did pages 150 to 153 problems 7 to 40 and Enriched did pages 264 and 266 in the algebra book problems 1 to 9 and 29 to 32, they also read over the same problems as regular Math8.

Wed. Everyone will take a test then work on exam review. HW: Review exam topics.

Thurs. Everyone will review exam topics in class and for homework.

Fri. Take exam 1st and 2nd period then have a wonderful holiday and winter vacation.

Week of December 10th to 14th

Mon. Math8- Interpreting graphs and tables HW: workbook page 20 Enriched- Coordinates and scatter plots HW: textbook pages 206 to 208: 10 to 12, 19 to 41. Assignments were started in class.

Dates to remember for next week. Wed. Dec. 19th function test and Fri. Dec. 21st mid-year exam. Exam will be given to everyone during 1st and 2nd period. Quarter ends on Fri. Dec. 21st. Please keep in mind that exams can not be given early.

Tues. Math8-Took a pop quiz then worked on problem solving and challenge worksheet. HW: finish worksheet Enriched- Graphing linear equations HW: pages 214-215 problems 12 to 35 and 52 to 55.

Wed. Math8- Functions HW: workbook page 21 Enriched - Functions and Relations HW: book pages 259-260 problems 11 to 40

Thurs. Math8- Equations, Tables and Graphs -used graphing calculators HW:page 22 in workbook Enriched did the same HW: besides the workbook page 22 be sure to finish class work worksheets

Fri. Math8- More equations, tables, graphs and functions.HW: work sheet on "Am I a Function?" Enriched the same.

Remember: test Wed. and exam Fri. morning

Week of Dec. 3rd to 7th.

Mon. Math8 and Enriched reviewed roster notation and did complements. Homework is not the same. Math8: finish worktext pages 473 to 475. Enriched: finish worktext page 476 and do worksheet .

Test is scheduled for Wednesday. I will be availabe for help sessions on Tues. and Wed. mornings starting at 8:15.

Tues. Math8 and Enriched: Review for test and went over quizzes. HW: Test review worksheet and know all the vocabulary and review the various venn diagrams from previous assignments. Test will be Thursday instead of tomorrow. Only students attending a band field trip Wed. afternoon said this would be a problem.

Wed. Math8 and Enriched: More review. Do page 723 in textbook. HW: Study all materials.

Thur. Math8 and Enriched: Take test HW: organize homework for homework quiz on Friday. Assignments 20 to 29.

Fri. Everyone took homework quiz Math8-Reviewed ordered pairs and graphing on a coordinate plane HW: workbook pages 18 and 19 Enriched- Introduction to functions HW: page 49 in textbook problems 10 to 25.
