Wed. Math8: homework quiz and graded activity in class HW:study for test-can use the review and chapter test at the end of chapter 14 in the textbook Enriched: same as Math8

Week of April 20th to 24th

Mon. - Wed.: Math8 and Enriched: In Class CRCT review, Mon's taken as a quiz grade HW: none for the week, good time for students to make up any missing work or corrections

Thurs.: Math8 and Enriched: Started new unit on Polynomials it is in the textbook under chapter 14. Today we did 14.1 in class HW: none

Fri: Continued with identifying and classifying polynomials and will begin 14.2 on simplifying HW: Get progress report signed, worse quiz score will be dropped.

Week of April 13th to 17th

Students can attend regular help sessions on Tues. and Thurs. morning.

The textbook CRCT practice can also be found on line.

The homework practice sheets are very important. If a student doesn't remember a concept it can not be ignored.

Week of March 9th to the 13th

Mon. Math8 and Enriched: took 3rd quarter exam HW: Math8 needs to bring in assignments for completion points (angle relationship worksheets, test review and exam review) Enriched needs to bring exam review, test review and work from polygon worksheets (many students have already shown me their work)

Tues. Math8 and Enriched: Introduction to Unit 7: Systems of Equations and Inequalities, first part is on determing if an ordered pair is a solution and finding a solution by graphing HW: red workbook 6-1

Most of Unit 7 can be found in the red Algebra book in chapter 6.The red Algebra book is now available to students online. The green textbook has one section in chapter 11 section 6.
