Don't forget to have your interactive notebook organized for Monday's open notes quiz. We spent time in class today organizing your table of contents and entries....hope you were paying attention:)

AC classes: don't forget that your newspaper summaries are due on Monday.

DON'T FORGET: You are allowed to wear your Halloween costume to school on Monday. Just be sure to follow the Dickerson dress code as you prepare to surprise your classmates.

Complete your metaphorical representation illustration for the "Scramble of Africa" tonight.

Homework for 10-20

Exploration quiz tomorrow. Review pages in your interactive notebook beginning on page 39 for on-level classes and page 37 for AC classes. Pay close attention to the explorers and their routes of navigation. The vocabulary activity that you completed last night for homework will also be important for you to know.  If you  study your notes, you should do great on the quiz. Remember...tomorrow's quiz is not multiple choice, but fill in the blank and short answer. A word bank will not be provided.

All Classes: Complete the vocabulary Frayer model. Define, draw, use the word in a sentence and explain how this word relates to exploration. Look on page 44 in your notebook for the vocabulary words we discussed in class.

Don't forget that you're having a quiz over exploration on Friday. Refer to the notes in your spiral. We will review for the quiz tomorrow in class.
