Homework for 9-14

Tonight all classes need to complete the 12 questions based on the graphic organizers. You will not find specific answers in the organizer,  but you will apply this information in your responses.

The organizer for Italy and Germany will not be posted tonight. We will discuss the charts tomorrow in class.

If you are not keeping up with your interactive notebook's table of contents, then you need to come by during homeroom to get organized.

We had an inspiring assembly today. You may want to discuss what you learned  with your parents.

Homework for 9-9

Extra Credit Available:  Students are encouraged to watch one of the numerous shows on the anniversary of 9-11. Please watch this program with one of your parents. Write a one page summary on the program; don't forget to put the title of the program on your paper.

AC classes: you will have a learning check on the physical features of Europe on Monday. Review page 17 of your notebook.

Homework for 9-8

We will continue  our research on the United Kingdom and Russia tomorrow.

You do not have a written homework assignment tonight, but ....some students need to get their notebooks in order. I noticed several pages that have not been glued in. On level classes should have 20 pages listed in their table of contents and the AC classes should have 19 pages. AC classes need to look over Europe's physical features. We will have a learning check over these features on Monday.

All Classes: Complete the illustrations for the "Factors of Climate" worksheet. Attached is the power point... just in case you did not have time to copy the notes down in class.  Download Factors of Climate2

All Classes: I returned your map test today and you glued it into your interactive notebook . Mom or dad may want to look over your paper. I updated Pinnacle with this test score so you can see your current average.

No written homework tonight.

Homeroom students: A few students still have not brought back the performing arts permission slips. Please take care of this so you can attend the performance in the spring.

 School pictures are scheduled for Thursday, September 8. Pre-payment envelopes were sent home today. Payment must be made directly to the photographer on picture day using the picture selection envelope. All students will be photographed for the yearbook.

Homework for 9-2

All classes: No homework over Labor Day weekend! I will grade your tests this weekend and we'll go over the results on Tuesday.

Homeroom students: Please return the performing arts permission slip on Tuesday. I still have 4 students who have not returned the form.

OL Classes- Complete the map review on page 17 of your spiral notebook.

I gave you a study guide for tomorrow's test; look on page 15. Study the appropriate countries and physical features listed on the review sheet. Don't forget to look over basic map skills from pages 6 and 7 in your notebook.

AC Classes: Study your Eastern and Western European countries. You may want to visit the sites linked from Friday's blog for practice. You do not need to complete the map on page 17 for homework; just study all 44 countries and the correct spelling for each.
