Homework for 11-12

There is not a homework assignment tonight due to the "Too Good for Violence" lessons  taught during math class today.

Please ask your child about this program and what we discussed during class about "win-win" situations and learning  how to compromise during conflicts. Tomorrow the Language Arts teachers will continue with this program.

I will go over the fraction test tomorrow in class. If your child made a "D or an F", I will sent the test home along with a copy of the test.

YIPPIE!!! We do not have any homework this weekend!

We had our fraction test today. If your child did not complete the test, please have him/her come to my room at 8:30 on Monday monrning.

Homework for 11-8

Students need to complete the study guide packet tonight. All work must be shown in order to receive homework credit. The answers have been provided on the worksheet in order for the students to check all problems for accuracy. The fraction test is tomorrow so we spent all period Wednesday and today reviewing all concepts.

There will be another help session tomorrow at 8:25. Students need to come prepared with questions. I had 18 students come to today's help session and only 3 students had questions.

Don't forget about the tutorials provided by our textbook. We are working from chapters 4 and 5.

Homework for 11-7

Students were given a review sheet for Friday's fraction test. The sheet does not need to be completed until Friday. Students may work 16 problems tonight and 16 tomorrow OR they may want to work of the problems tonight. It's up to them. All of the answers are written on the back of the worksheet so students can check their work as they go.

There will be a help session tomorrow and Friday at 8:25.

Homework for 11-2

Students need to complete the worksheet "Shakespeare" --front and back. All work needs to be done in the spiral notebook.

There will be a multiplication/division of fractions quiz next Thursday. Word problems will also be included on the quiz. There will be a help session next Thursday at 8:25.

Homework for 11-1

Students need to complete the worksheet "Steer " and "Doughnut" for homework. We went over most of the problems on the "Steer" worksheet in class today. All work needs to be completed in the spiral notebook.

I handed back the open-notes warm up quiz today. If your child made a low score, then he/she needs to be more attentive when we go over and work each problem. Some students are not making up the entries when they are absent. They need to check the back board daily for entry dates.  This type of quiz is given to review the concepts we've studied, to help students organize notes and to help those students who need an easy 100 to help balance out a low score.
