We have continued this week with our look into the literature from the 60’s/Civil Rights era.
Before we read Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, the students need background information on the Civil Rights movement. The students are working individually or with a partner to complete research project. This project will be presented in class on Thursday.
On Monday, each student read “Brown Vs. Board of Education” and answered questions. These questions are to be turned into your period’s bin for a classwork grade.
