We began our new unit with 60’s literature by reading “The American Dream” which is an essay written by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  The students discussed what the “American Dream” looks like.

Homework:  “What is the American Dream?” Locate/Draw 5 images and bring  them tomorrow because we will be creating a class collage.
