We have begun To Kill a Mockingbird (TKAM) in class. We discussed the time period to have background on The Great Depression and Civil Rights.
I am reading aloud the first few chapters to the class. The set-up in the book is extremely important. It is an exciting adventure to be welcomed into Scout Finch’s world in 1930’s Maycomb County, Alabama.
