This year’s CRCT testing will take place from April 12 – 18, 2011. In order to support our students’ success on these important assessments, the 8th grade language arts teachers have developed a series of online tests which will help students review the language arts skills for the eighth grade curriculum. This valuable practice opportunity allows students to gain confidence and skill in answering the types of questions typically encountered on standardized tests. Students who complete all seven tests with a score of 90% or better will have the opportunity to earn one bonus point per test which can be added to their final exam grade. There are seven tests; therefore, students have the possibility of earning up to seven bonus points on the language arts final exam. Students must print out their score for each test and show it to their teacher in order to receive the bonus points.

Locate the language arts tests under the “tests” tab. Each test may be taken multiple times until a score of 90% or better is achieved. All online tests must be taken and proof of a passing grade must be provided to your language arts teacher by Wednesday April 13, 2011.
