We continued discussing the organizational structure of expository and informational writing. We completed the pages from our Reader’s Journey Workbook on page 246-251. In the margins, write any signal words that are used. Answer questions 1-5 on page 251 in complete sentences.

We looked at cause & effect writing today. Also, we discussed the terms affect, effect, and enable. We played “Cliffhanger” using cause & effect signal words.
