Ms. Andrizzi's Math Class

We had a great review activity today!   If students completed the practice quiz last night and the practice sheet tonight with ease, they will do fine on the test tomorrow.  Study the areas that gave you trouble. We will have another help session in the morning at 8:20am.  (Perhaps a bonus point or 2 will be given if you happen to attend)

We are continuing to review and practice the divisibility rules.  We will have a short quiz on Friday on applying the divisibility rules for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, & 10.  HW:  WorkText page 89 #1-9.  Make your T-charts in your spiral notebook.

We continue to experience difficulties with having the necessary materials and supplies for our class.  I need to ask for some assistance from both students and parents.  Textbooks are kept in the classroom for all students when we need them.  Paper and pencils are available in the classroom if a student does not have one.  Parents and students please make sure that your math materials consist of the following:

1.  One 2 inch binder with 4 dividers labeled -warm-ups, worksheets, graded papers, and keepers.  This must be 2 inches so that all necessary materials are together in one place.

2.  The student WorkText workbook shoud be placed inside the binder.

3.  A small spiral notebook (with small spiral so that is fits nicely in the binder).  70 page notebooks are 10 for $1.00 at Target!

4.  Loose leaf paper for warm-ups and notes.  We may decide to put notes and warm-ups altogether in spiral notebook, but will still need loose leaf paper.

Remember to get your parent's signature after reviewing this entry with them!

Secret question (to make sure you checked my blog today...)  Where was Mrs. Andrizzi born?
