The quiz will cover vocabulary (preamble, exploration article) and all of the explorers we have discussed: Ferdinand Magellan, Christopher Columbus, Bartholemeu Dias, John Cabot, Vasco da Gama, Prince Henry the Navigator, and Henry Hudson.

Today we worked on our explorer flip chart using our research from yesterday. This is an in-class project.

Today we went to the Media Center where we used the entire class period to research explorers. Students were given a handout which guided them on the information they needed to gather. The explorers researched were Henry Hudson, Christopher Columbus, and Prince Henry the Navigator. If you did not finish your work in class, it is homework. We will be using this information to start a mini class project tomorrow!
